Kerrie Thomson, Director

Owner and director, Kerrie is Max! With a loyal team of clients and candidates Kerrie has recruited, managed and lived in Melbourne’s Eastern suburbs for over 27 years. Kerrie continues to see MAX as distinct from the larger Agencies, a place that Candidates & Companies can consistently trust and rely on through their experience every day. This was the MAX she created and that remains today. As a client recently commented, “..we were ‘wowed’ by an agency’s slick presentation but underwhelmed by the reality of their service & Candidates.” For Kerrie, she wants you to be ‘wowed’ by MAX but not from our brochures - from the people we send!

Feroza Hoosen, Principal Consultant

Newly married, Feroza left her home and family in South Africa to move to Melbourne to start a new life with husband Naz. In true Feroza style she diligently researched the industry familiarizing herself with the market and region before deciding on MAX. Overcoming the challenges of a new city and culture Feroza has become part of the MAX family and is the backbone and face of MAX. Our lead Consultant she is loved by both Candidates & Companies alike - and most of all by us!

Apart from being affectionately known in our team as our “Princess,” Feroza has a Diploma in HR, over 8 years recruitment experience and is studying a Bachelor of Commerce.

Nola Geary, Recruiter, Para Consultant, Ex-Temp, Mother Hen

Nola has worked as a temp of Kerrie’s since 1988. Sought after by some of Melbourne’s most prestigious organisations such as KPMG, BHP, Linfox to name a few, Nola was the Secretarial queen! It came as no surprise when Nola was nominated twice for Drake’s Fieldstaffer of the Year Award and was the winner in 1989. A professional temp of Kerrie’s for the next 15 years Nola then became a client. After a long stint on the client side, Nola returned to Kerrie and joined the MAX family. Drawing on skills gained from both sides, Nola now works in-house at MAX, recruiting and servicing our temps. Bringing an insight and knowledge that can only come from doing - Nola truly is our mother hen!

Wendy Whitford, Payroll & Administration

Wendy Jane and Kerrie go way back. Friends for over 30 years, who better to manage the financial and payroll arm of MAX than Wendy. Reliable, consistent and always present Wendy has never missed a payroll. She is the one who chases the money, ensure the pays go through and pulls her hair out when the timesheets are late! Monday’s (payroll day) are her scary days and we advise everyone to steer clear and toe the line until payroll is submitted. Wednesday is her happy day as the week draws to a close. She is a stalwart of MAX and the team could not function without her.
